You can update firmware to printers by using MVE. Uploaded
firmware is automatically added to the Resource Library.

To update the firmware, from the printer listing page,
select one or more printers.

Click Configure, and then click Update firmware to
printers.

Upload firmware file by browsing to the firmware file.

For MVE to update the printer firmware, you must set
the Firmware Updates function access control to No Security. If security is assigned to the Firmware Updates access control, then MVE updates the printer firmware by using security credentials, thus ensuring secured management of printers.

You can also schedule an update by selecting Define
update window. You can set when and how often to run the update.
